Save on School Supplies


Looking for cheap school supplies but want to avoid the crowd at Divisoria?  The Department of Trade and Industry’s Diskwento Caravan: Balik Eskwela is selling school supplies at cheaper than suggested retail prices. The caravan will make the rounds of major cities starting today, May 15, 2012.

You can buy notebooks, pens, as well as uniform, shoes and even canned goods for baon.

The DTI has also released its list of suggested retail prices or SRP for school supplies. This is the range of prices school supplies stores are supposed to follow. Except for pencils and crayons, prices remain the same from last year.

When buying, always check to see if the product bears the brand name and trademark as well as the manufacturer’s address.
